The OC Quick Release leash features a Metolius carabiner which allows for quick removal and re attachment of the leash without the removal of the ankle/calve cuff.
	
A Metolius climbing carabiner is used for the quick disconnect. Weighing less than 1 oz and with a breaking strength of almost 5,000 pounds, it cannot open accidently, and is easy to connect and disconnect in the challenging conditions.
